Evander Kane hospitalized with ‘surprising’ injury following being cut by skate sharp edge
Edmonton forward Evander Kane was cut on the left wrist by a skate edge Tuesday night and taken to the clinical concentration with an astonishing veritable issue during the Oilers’ 3-2 win over the Tampa Sound Lightning.
The Oilers said Kane was in stable condition and expected to go through a framework on Tuesday night.
“The news that I’ve gotten up until this point, it’s genuine bound, is that he’s in a fair spot,” Edmonton guide Jay Woodcroft said. “He’s controlling amazing.”
Kane got tangled with Lightning defenseman Philippe Myers just inside the Edmonton noticed zone during the accompanying period, and reviewing that on the ice was cut by Tampa Straight forward Pat Maroon’s skate edge.
“You jump when that is the thing you see,” Lightning guide Jon Cooper said. “It was attempting to see. In a perfect world, he will be alright considering the way that you know, in hockey, you battle against each other. It’s a contention [but] we’re at this point a family.”
Kane got the cut area with his right hand and rushed to the seat before heading for the extra room.
“It’s disturbing, emphatically disturbing,” Oilers star Connor McDavid said. “I figure you could feel the energy in the entire field kind of get sucked out. We’re looking at him. We’re hearing he’s doing insist, yet endlessly out that is starting.”
